Rod: Woodee Offshore Series

Fish: Tuna

Weight: 10-12 lbs.

Gary Robertson,

I wanted to share these pictures with you; the Woodeerod did a good job on these tunas. The rod has great backbone on handling these fish, the black fins range 10 -12 pounds, while the yellow fin was 30 pounds. We were jigging these fish with diamond jigs, we cleaned the jigs up and repainted them with glo in the dark paint. The rod has a Garcia Ambassador 10 Reel and 30# Cajun red line. This seem to be a goodcombination for this rod from snapper to tuna.. Just waiting to get into some Kingfish with this rod!

Thanks,
Capt.Beny Farley

Name: James Brawner

Location: East Matagorda

Rod: Woodee titanium series

Fish: Speckled Trout

Weight: 6lbs. 7 oz.

James Brawner caught this speckled trout on his first cast while drift fishing in East Matagorda. Mr Brawner said, " The way the fish hit I thought it was a red, I pulled the Woodee Rod back and slammed the hook into the fish's jaw. I reeled the fish in and found that I had hooked into a pretty good Trout. Upon getting the trout into the boat I futher inspected the trout and found her to be 27 3/4 inches and 6 pounds 7 ounces. Not bad for a first cast of a new rod. I am very impressed with the Woodee titanium series rod."
